From a young age, Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit took root, sparking a commitment to business and innovation. His early ventures laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial mindset.

In 2013, Richard’s entrepreneurship gained recognition when he became a finalist in the Forum of Young Togolese Entrepreneurs. This milestone marked the start of his journey into technology-driven entrepreneurship, which he recognized as a powerful force for positive change. Over the years, Richard has focused on combining his passion for technology with his desire to address global challenges, positioning himself at the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, and social impact.

Today, Richard is known for his work in space technology, leveraging its potential to support strategic decision-making and address issues like climate resilience and sustainable development. As the founder of African Geospace, he leads initiatives that use satellite data and geospatial technology to empower businesses, governments, and organizations to make informed decisions on agriculture, mining, infrastructure planning, and more.

Richard believes data and digital tools can transform governance by enabling citizens to demand transparency and accountability. Through Media Diplomacy and his involvement in data journalism and civic tech initiatives, he equips communities with the knowledge and resources to advocate for better governance.
